Ingredients
  

Oil
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or neutral oil like canola or grapeseed
  • 2 tablespoons dried red chili flakes adjust to spice preference
  • 4 cloves garlic minced

Method
 

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in chili flakes to infuse the oil.
  4. Let the oil cool to room temperature before transferring to a jar.
  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 weeks.
