Method
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the brioche into bite-sized cubes and place in the baking dish.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture over the brioche cubes.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Remove cover and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Cut into squares and serve warm with maple syrup and powdered sugar.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use day-old brioche. This allows the bread to soak up the custard even better!
