Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Cream butter, sugars, and mashed banana until fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
- Mix in dry ingredients; fold in chocolate chips (and nuts if using).
- Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet; bake 10-12 mins until golden.
- Cool for 5 mins on sheet, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and cool on the sheet.
