Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional) if using
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional) if using

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with wet mixture; fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into pan, top with chocolate chips, and bake 50–60 minutes.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or chopped walnuts.
