Method
- Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Add bread cubes and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Bake bread pudding covered for 55-60 minutes until set.
- Make sauce: melt butter, add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves; cook until dissolved. Stir in heavy cream and bananas.
- Pour sauce over baked pudding and serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For extra flavor, top with chopped nuts or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
