Method
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 4–5 minutes, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in spices, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, beans, and beef broth. Simmer uncovered for 30–40 minutes until thickened.
- Serve hot with optional toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, or jalapeños.
