Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Sauté diced onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess fat. Stir in spices and cook 1-2 minutes.
  4. Mix in tomato paste, cook 2-3 minutes, then add diced tomatoes, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Add beans, stir, and simmer for another 10-15 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier chili, add more cayenne or chili powder to taste.
