Ingredients
  

Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Peel, cube, and boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain and mash sweet potatoes until smooth. Mix in brown sugar, melted butter, milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Gently fold in chopped pecans and flour. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and puffed. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, sprinkle additional pecans on top before baking.
