  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
Fruity topping
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
Crumble topping
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients; beat butter and sugar, add eggs, vanilla, and cream cheese.
  3. Combine dry and wet; fold in blueberries.
  4. Pour batter into pan; prepare crumble and sprinkle over top.
  5. Bake 30-35 minutes; cool slightly before serving.

Use fresh blueberries for best flavor and texture.
