Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cornflakes optional for topping
  • 2 tablespoons butter optional for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix hashbrowns, cheese, sour cream, soup, butter, onion and garlic powders, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer to a greased 9x13 inch dish and spread evenly.
  4. If using, crush cornflakes, sprinkle on top, and drizzle with melted butter.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let sit briefly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add more topping or bake a few minutes longer.
