Method
- Simmer the oil, then cook garlic and shallots for 3 minutes until golden.
- Add star anise and cinnamon, cook for 4 minutes.
- Stir in chili flakes and peanuts, cook for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and add soy, honey, paprika, and sesame seeds.
- Remove star anise and cinnamon, cool, then transfer to jar and store.
