Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
Wet ingredients
  • ½ cup melted unsalted butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 ½ cups mashed ripe bananas about 3-4 bananas
  • ½ cup greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips plus extra for sprinkling

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a loaf pan and line with parchment.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt.
  3. Beat butter, sugars, and mashed bananas. Add yogurt, eggs, vanilla; mix well.
  4. Fold in dry ingredients and chocolate chips. Pour into pan and sprinkle extra chips on top.
  5. Bake for 65-75 minutes. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
