Christmas Morning Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bake Recipe

Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 8 slices turkey bacon cooked and crumbled
Dairy
  • 6 large eggs eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese optional
Vegetables & Seasonings
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Baking & Bread
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough 8 biscuits
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onions optional, for garnish
Cooking Supplies
  • cooking spray or butter for greasing the baking dish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook turkey bacon until crispy, then drain and chop.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
  3. Cut biscuits into quarters, grease a 9×13-inch dish, layer biscuits, turkey bacon, and cheese, then pour egg mixture over.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until eggs are set and top is golden. Cool slightly and garnish with chives or green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs or spices to the egg mixture.
