Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 1 loaf French bread, cubed
Dairy
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 6 large eggs eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)
Toppings
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch dish.
  2. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Combine cream cheese mixture with egg mixture. Place bread in dish and pour mixture over.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden.
  5. Serve drizzled with maple syrup and dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes

For best results, refrigerate overnight before baking.
