Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine cottage cheese and self-rising flour until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
- Roll each portion into a rope and form into a bagel shape.
- Brush each bagel with the beaten egg.
- Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning, if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a crispier bagel, bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You can also add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the dough for a touch of sweetness.
