Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 cup diced bell peppers (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook sausage until browned, then drain.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder in a bowl.
  3. Layer hash browns in a greased 9x13 inch dish, add sausage, optional peppers, then pour egg mixture. Top with cheese.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes until eggs are set and top is golden. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, use turkey sausage and low-fat cheese.
