Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (optional) optional
  • 1 cup diced onions (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook sausage until browned, then drain.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Press crescent dough into a greased 9x13 inch dish, then layer cooked sausage on top.
  4. Sprinkle bell peppers, onions, and cheese over sausage, then pour egg mixture over everything.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and golden. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped herbs or hot sauce.
