  • 1 lb Ground beef or turkey
  • 1 Can (15 oz) Kidney beans
  • 1 Can (15 oz) Diced tomatoes
  • 1 Medium onion, diced
  • 1 Red bell pepper diced
  • 3 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin

Method
 

  1. Sauté diced onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic in oil until softened (~5 min).
  2. Add ground meat and cook until browned (~7-10 min).
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 min.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and kidney beans; stir to combine.
  5. Bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered for 20-30 min to meld flavors.
