Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted, unsalted)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (plus more for topping)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl, then add melted butter, egg, sugars, vanilla, and yogurt. Mix well.
  3. Sift in flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda; stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips, then pour batter into the prepared pan. Top with extra chips.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before serving.

Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days for best moisture.
