Chicken Parm Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  3. Combine cottage cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for another 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve hot.

Notes

For a crispier topping, broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
