Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 5 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and diced bell pepper; cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. Push vegetables aside and cook ground turkey until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Stir in chili powder and cumin; cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, beans, water, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Adjust seasoning if needed. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
