Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt butter in a 9x13 inch dish, then sprinkle brown sugar and pecans on top.
- Cream sugar and eggs, add vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder, salt; combine with wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
- Pour batter over pecans, bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
Notes
Ensure the cake is slightly cooled before flipping to prevent breaking.
