Easy Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
  

Potatoes
  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Layer half of potatoes in a baking dish.
  2. Mix cream, milk, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Pour over potatoes and sprinkle with half of the cheese.
  3. Repeat layering with remaining potatoes, pour remaining mixture, and top with remaining cheese and butter.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15-20 minutes until golden.
  5. Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, use low-fat cheese and milk.
