Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Layer half of potatoes in a baking dish.
- Mix cream, milk, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Pour over potatoes and sprinkle with half of the cheese.
- Repeat layering with remaining potatoes, pour remaining mixture, and top with remaining cheese and butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Let cool briefly before serving.
Notes
For a healthier option, use low-fat cheese and milk.
