Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, cottage cheese, egg, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix until a smooth, sticky dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a ball on a floured surface.
- Poke a hole through the center to create a bagel shape.
- Place bagels on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with egg and sprinkle with toppings, if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
