How to Make Chili Oil

Ingredients
  

Dried chili peppers
  • 50 g dried chili pepper to make half cup of chili flakes
  • 1.5 cup oil less or more to your liking
  • 3 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Toast dried chili peppers in 1 tbsp oil until browned and aromatic. Cool and crush into flakes with salt.
  2. Heat 1.5 cups oil with sesame seeds until golden. Turn off heat.
  3. Pour hot oil and sesame seeds over chili flakes. Stir and cool before storing.

Notes

Store in a glass container for best flavor.
