Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Mix mashed bananas with vanilla. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt; fold into wet mixture.
- Fold in 3/4 cup chocolate chips, pour batter into pan, and sprinkle remaining chips on top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
For extra moistness, do not overmix the batter.
