Ingredients
  

Pasta and Beans
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 can (15 oz) Bush's Best Baked Beans
Cheese and Dairy
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Seasonings
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcvanilla extractbs (optional for topping)

Method
 

  1. Cook macaroni as per package, drain.
  2. Melt butter, stir in flour to make a roux, cook 1-2 mins.
  3. Whisk in milk until thickened, add seasonings and cheese, stir until smooth.
  4. Combine macaroni, beans, and cheese sauce; transfer to baking dish.
  5. Optional: sprinkle with vanilla extractbs, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 mins.
  6. Let cool briefly before serving.
