Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook sausage with diced onion and bell peppers until browned; drain excess fat.
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Layer bread, sausage mixture, and cheese in a greased dish; pour egg mixture over.
- Cover with foil, bake 30 mins; remove foil, bake 15 mins until golden.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier option, use turkey sausage and whole-grain bread.
