Method
- Melt butter, saute onions until softened.
- Mix in garlic, saute for a minute.
- Pour in broth, cream, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Sear sausage in separate skillet until heated through.
- Add spinach to sauce, saute until wilted.
- Stir sausage into sauce, combine well.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
