Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas and mix in melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts or a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking.
