Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs, pumpkin, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in chopped pecans.
- Pour batter into pan. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the batter for a tender crumb.
