Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment.
- Mix flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy; add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, then fold in oats, apples, nuts, and white chocolate.
- Drop tablespoons onto baking sheets, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar for topping, then bake 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool on sheets 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, add more nuts or white chocolate chips as desired.
