Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas, then mix with eggs, sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in chopped walnuts, pour batter into pan, and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a skewer comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
