- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange brioche cubes evenly in the dish.
- Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Pour egg mixture over brioche, ensuring bread is moistened.
- Gently press bread to absorb liquid.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight (or 4+ hours).
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove wrap and bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm with toppings.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use challah bread instead of brioche. You can also add a splash of bourbon or rum to the egg mixture for an extra kick.
