  • 1 can pumpkin puree 15 oz can
  • 1 can evaporated milk 12 oz can
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Dry Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 oz box
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts optional
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch dish, sprinkle cake mix, nuts (if using), and drizzle butter.
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden and set.
  5. Cool slightly and serve. Enjoy!
