Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup milk
Cinnamon-sugar topping
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas and mix wet ingredients: sugars, melted butter, eggs, vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add dry to wet, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into pan, sprinkle cinnamon-sugar topping, and bake 50-60 mins.
