Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs and mix well.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; combine with wet ingredients.
- Stir in bananas, sour cream, and vanilla. Fold in walnuts if using.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 50-55 minutes. Cool before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle with cinnamon or add chocolate chips.
