Bananas
  • 3 medium bananas, mashed
Eggs
  • 2 large large eggs
Butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
Sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Flour
  • cups all-purpose flour
Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Salt
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas, then mix with melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; fold into wet mixture.
  4. Gently fold in most chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
  5. Pour batter into pan, sprinkle with remaining chips, and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
